I think he's referring to Jim - a tropheus breeder over east. No choombies/Jim/James bought them from an importer over east. I saw these guys when he first got them and they are a very nice tropheus variant. Green whipple or whimple was the nickname for them.

Get them breeding brenno!!!

Haha not taking the piss these tropheus came from choombies. James Mcdonald who i was referring to owns the wc colony. I thought you were referring to a tropheus breeder over east who's name is Jim Marinos... wow all a bit confusing lol (don't look far off breeding)

I saw photos of malagarasi and wasn't so impressed but then saw them in person and fell in love lol they are bloody cool

Video of my first holding Malagarasi
Bit of an update on the colony. They weren't very healthy when i got them and were not showing good color. Their color still isn't brilliant but it's getting better some are now showing signs of bars. They came from high quality perents so no reason I can't get them looking good

Hey Brenno,

Have you still got this colony? Just checking as it seems very quite in Tropheus world at the moment so I am just wondering who has what...
