Hi everyone,
my name is Paul and I'm a fishaholoc! Lol
not that long ago I didn't have much intrest in fish except for catching on a rod from the ocean and eating them, untill my wife saw these eye catching fish at a pet shop. They were African cyclids and the rest is history!
We now have a 4ft aqua one tank full of Africans about 18 at last count. As I said I'm not normally a fish person but I have put alot of work into helping my wife get the tank set up and now running at what I beleve to be almost full potential. We spent alot of hard earned cash and alot of floaties.(as my wife calls them) I sat down on the couch and instead of watching the tv I watched the fish. I think it was more relaxing than I ever imagined.
That's just about it any questions just ask!
Cheers Paul

Hey Paul,
Welcome to the Perth Cichlid Society.
What part of Melb are you from?
What sort of Africans have you gone for?
Hope to see you on the forums.
Cheers

Gday Paul
Glad you managed to create a post. Is this from your iPhone or a computer? I'm still yet to see what the site looks like on an iPhone but I hope to get one soon through work.

Hi daz
thanks for your help, once I knew what I was looking for it was ok.
The iPhone is good but the screen is smaller than a computer so when you enlarge to see the screen it's hard to see the whole page and all the buttons. Other than that it's all good.
I notice that there are some people from other areas other than Perth on here maybe you can create a service directory for people who would like to recomend an aquarium in their local area to be of assistance to people who would like help finding these services. That's if you don't already have one.
Just a segestion
thanks again

Hi Paul!
I lived in Melbourne for about 25 years!
How's Melton these days? Is Melton Reservoir still open for fishing? lol
A good fish shop you might want to check out is Aquatic Escape in Maribyrnong (Highpoint). About 30mins drive from you..
Enjoy the PCS!
Cheers!

Hey Paul,
Dont think Ive been to Melton, I lived in Geelong for a bout 9yrs. Didnt travel too much to the outer suburbs of Melb, just to the city.
Sounds like a nice tank, have you got any pics?
Keep an eye on the Tropheus & Frontosa, they might get a little picky towards the other fish.
You may not know, but your Fronts & Tropheus are from Lake Tanganyika & the rest of your fish are from Lake Malawi (Except the pleco)
Cheers
