I created this web page on maingano if anyone is interested.
Pretty basic so far but will add more info over time.

Nice. I like how you've included a photo of their location in the lake.

well done , i rate your effort highly.
It would it be nice to have a template like this on the forum which people can fill in and add info to.
I like how its about "your" fish and "your" tank and practical advise from someone who has been there and done that but it also gives some info regarding how they live and where they originally come from , but your observations is what makes it a great read and gives the reader an insight into just how much you love your maingano.
fantastic effort
Cheers

That's a good interesting read Simon, very well put together.
When are you doing the same for the other 100's of species in Lake Malawi ?

*Update* - Just updated the page.
LOL, thanks for all the kind comments. As stated on the page it's a work in progress still.
Given I only have experience with maingano I'll stick to them for now, however a friend keeps Clown Loaches and maybe I can write his fish up.
Will notify when there's some more substantial stuff added.
Got some video of the dominant male doing breeding "shimmy" so will upload that, also, some circling behaviour they do when they start getting "jiggy wid it".
