Thanks Andrea i do have some black river stone that i broke up, That should work in well.

Thanks Vincent since i've put the T5's in i haven't looked back,I should add that i have now 6 T5's and it's even better It give's me 2.5 WPG.
i don't need to prune everyweek,Maybe every 2-3 weeks unless i'm changing it around.
My are colouring up very nicely,Just one of the red melons a little on the light side but the other is really red.
It's been the best buy of discus and the quality,Remember the blue diamond i nearly lost it has come back and full of life.

The glosso has really taken off in your tank... I hope that it does the same in mine

And our stricta is such a nice looking background plant too... What's the name of the reddish/orange plant to the right of the stricta - in the background?

BTW your discus look absoultely beautiful

Well done

The glosso has taken off it's growing everywhere laugh.gif your's will be aswell laugh.gif
The plant at the back on the right ludwigia repens.
Just a few more minor adjustments and the tank IMO is finished.

True but when you lose 2 rolls of black cotton from the wife's sewing box,You don't get much choice after.

Nice low scape why did you tear it down? Careful the bubbles on the riccia doesn't cause the DW to float! Don't ask how I know! Wish I had the guts to try riccia again, but with only one tank at the moment, I will pass for now.

The tank has cleared up adjusting or fine tuning the layout.
The plan: have rotala's at the back to the left and right and a center peice with a gap on each side,on the right side i have baby tear's for the middle ground on the left i have hair grass with the glosso taking it from there all the way round the riccia should break it up a little,Just behind the riccia is some arcuata which should pop it's head over soon.

Trying to get the red colour to show a little more on the pic,But that about the only thing that look's halve good
