I have a 2ft Aqualina T5 PL-L light. Right now im using it in my kribs tank because it has all my plants in there. I was wondering whether it is possible to get a 3ft reflector with the tubes providing similar coloured glow. I am a big fan of the T5 because the light pierces the water very well making it look extremely clean (even if the water is yellow with tannin).

The t5 was originally used in a 2ft marine tank. I was wondering whether one of the phillips aquasky tubes would provide a similar colour. My bro has a powerglo 18,000K tube that is purple..dont really like that colour for my tank as it doesnt pierce the water as well.

just look at the kelvin rating, for plants it should be around 5000-8000k
