Hey all,

I am looking for a really prehistoric pleco i did a forum search but didn't find anything and a google search brings up heaps but am pretty sure alot of them are not allowed or not available in Australia. So this post is to find out what people in the know would recommend for a pleco that looks like it is from the time of the dinosaurs.

Pics would be appreciated and even post pics of ones we can get but make a note that it is un-available in Oz

Cheers

One to get the ball rolling ... L191 (pretty sure we cant get this one) but looks awesome

Check out this thread.

The adonis pleco is about as prehistoric as they come. Can be hard to come by though, and pretty pricey.

Try www.plecoplanet.com then go into the australian classifieds. This will be your best bet in finding rarer plecos. You will need to be prepared to fork out a decent amount of coin, and more than likely have them shippd to Perth from over east.
