Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone on this forum has kept a Bullrout?

I was reading a bit about them, and they seem to be a pretty cool fish.

Cheers

Yep for a while before it became Voodoo's.

Great looking fish. Great predator to keep... Wish I didnt have to get rid of so many of my fish late last year :-(

Would be great to keep with some big rainbows in a large tank. I dont think he'd catch the bows, especially if he was well fed.

The pain in the butt part is getting them onto pellets.

Morley Aquariums bought a few over. Talk to Paul he might be able to get something at some stage again. Livefish.com.au had some as well but are now out of stock. Thats it, they are the only options I know of.

Or ask the guys on the QLDAF forum to ship one or a handful over, they sell for about $2 a cm over east. Just don't know how youd go with the jerkeries fisheries

Morley submitted translocation permits for their bullrouts so it shouldnt be a problem.

No trans permit required for bullrouts, we checked prior to order. Sadly suppliers sold out for now.
