Hey Terry,

When you upload pictures to the PCS using the 'inbuilt' file attachment e.g. uploading to the PCS server; you only have a limited amount of space.

It sounds like you have reached your upload limit, you can delete some old attachments by going to My settings then Manage Attachments.

Alternately you can use an external photo hosting website like photobucket, then copy and paste the IMG code over.

There is practically no limit to uploads on Photobucket.

Hope this Helps.

Rovik I don't think thats the issue as recently the limit to your folder size was increased from 10mb to 100mb (due to aquascaping comp).

Terry, your issue is to do with the file size. Each post you make can only fit 2mb worth of photos (or up to 10x photos total).

So resave the photo in a smalller file and re-upload.

When I do my posts I size my photos to 1080px or 800px, which makes them about 300kb each.

That increase was only for club members.

You can edit your profile Terry, select attachments, then delete some of the older ones if you like, especially if they are used in a classifieds post

I checked in my profile, it said that I had used 20.14 of my 20 mb quota so I deleted a stack of pics from old posts, now I can post pics in Pms. It's a shame that I had to delete them, now there are a stack of old posts that are useless without pics.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers Terry

Yes it's a flaw in the system as i had to do the same with all my posts to. That's why i have not posted any pictures lately as i had only just worked out what the problem was of late. All the old post must not make any sense anymore.

Easy way to fix it Tbone.
Post your pic to FB, hide it so you can only see it, then copy and paste to here. Pain the butt, but works every time.

Probably should say something like 'Life Member' & 'Loves Angelfish' in the side profile I think.

Actually no he is not

After a lot of thought I have decided that the PCS is no longer the society that I joined in 1994 so I am resigning my position on the Committee and giving up my life membership as of today. I am not giving up my fish and I will continue to fight government departments that are trying to destroy our hobby, I believe that I will have more effect as an individual, as of today I can tell them what I think without bothering about the effects my views will have on the PCS.

That is true Jason, but it was decided that he wouldn't be taken down as a life member regardless.
And Terry never should be, he is way to valuable to the club. We all have our whinges at times including me ;)
Over the years Terry has put way too much into the club, he was one of the first members and has always put his best foot forward & on many occasions put the club first.

Thanks Az

Jason your  quote above was taken from the MEMBERS ONLY forum, it was a private msg from me to the financial members of the PCS.

Some mods just don't think.

Az: I am happy to make him a club member again.

Terry: You just need to ask one of the admins.

It was decided when you stood down that even though we will follow through with your request, your life member status would always be recognised should you ask for it back.

100% agree with Az, Terry's life membership was awarded for his service to this club. The story behind the decision to resign was again in the interest of the club and the possible conflict with the government. The Lost photos relating to old articles is a real shame.
