Anyone know how far fish can see outside the tank? Feel like I’m constantly stalked by a posse of fish in this small lounge.

Our archer fish can accurately hit the screw holding the wire for my tank lights from over 1.5m away however I'd not be surprised if they can see double that as my tropheus go nuts from around 4m away.  I've thought about it and I think they must be able to see but probably get the same internal reflection that stops us seeing through he sides of the tank so they would get a reflection of inside the tank then all of a sudden boom can see outside the tank :)

My fish room has frosted glass doors on it. My fish could see me through the closed frosted door (semi-transparent) while I was in my living room 4 or 5 meters away. I'd say their vision is pretty awesome considering they rely so heavily on it.

Ive had queenfish and giant trevally follow a lure as its flying through the air overhead and in some cases jump out of the water and eat it just before it hits the surface. Pretty safe to say their vision is pretty damn good. I would assume that predatory fish would have better eyesight than grazers although they would still need to be alert of predators so would have to have decent vision too.

My rays get super excited from 3-4m away and all lineup across the glass front.
