im not 100% sure but i think theres only 1 or maybe 2 breeding pairs or these little rippers in perth. one of the owners supplied vebas with about 20 babies about 4 weeks back. my mate bought 4 of them and theyre about 5cm long atm. we found that they grew at exactly the same rate as my bristlenose babies that i bought the same day.

the crazy thing is that he has his os in a 3x18x18 (with 2 fat goldfish)and feeds em nothin but algae wafers whereas my bn are in a bn dedicated 6x2x2 and get fed lettuce, zuccini, bok choi, live black worms, bloodworms and brine shrimp. im hoping to buy either the adults or offspring off him later down the track at mates rates.

i was in vebas yesterday and theres a few largish babies left for 65 bux each. these may be your only option.

happy hunting :good
Elliot

I've got 5 in a 4x2x2 that Anita brought us last year, are about 7cm long, wasn't gonna sell them but $350 may sway me to part with them....
