Just found this species browsing planet catfish. So IDE like to know, has anyone heard, seen or kept these and if so how hard were they to acquire/how expensive.

It's probably no time for me yet but I would like some more info about them. Cause they look AWESOME

cheers

Best way to determine the availablity question I find is, if it looks like an awesome, rare and different fish, chances are you cant keep it here legally and obtain it.......

Yeah. This I discovered going thru AQIS's website last night. The list of allowable imports is laughable to say the least.

I am disappointed, but really should I be expecting any less of our government?

Given the past successes ( Rabbits, foxes, goats, camels, water buffalo, donkeys, horses, turtle doves, rainbow lorikeets, kookaburras, gambusia, cane toads, redfin perch, carp, trout, yabbies etc etc ), you can't blame them for erring on the side of caution.

They're nice. My mission was to have all 5 synodontis species from tanginyika. I might just have to settle for 4
