Ive only just started using PB again after many years of not using it. I use to be able to copy & paste direct from FB but it seems now the images disappear after a few days so now most of threads look like poo.

Ophthalmotilapia ventralis chituta
This is the last colony from the original German colony I had last year. I've been holding onto these guys as they were the best of the best IMO. They got moved from a 3x2x2 into a 6x2x2 last week. Shouldn't be too much longer for fry
These pics are 2 days after their move, 2 males have showed dominance and are holding each end of the tank. Plenty of girls to choose from.

Really starting to bulk up, Hoping to get them into their own 6x2x2 very soon.
Way too much action going on in the 6ft'er they are in at the moment.
A male will start to show signs of coloring but dulls down after a couple of days, There is a few
D. compressiceps in the tank that are trying to spawn and are being slightly more dominating

Juvies starting to get protective over shells.
* I have noticed some Occies getting around Perth at the moment, They aren't from my spawns.
Not saying I'm perfect as nobody is... But I haven't and never will sell or give away sick or deformed fish.
I'm pretty anal when it comes to deformities, I hate seeing people breeding from them as it can wreck it for the beginner or the unsuspecting.
Female with new batch of fry. She is extremely good at protecting them & is great to watch her "Call" them all back to the shell when she see's fish in the tank next to hers.

A couple of randoms from the shed a few nights ago.
Metriaclima sp."zebra long pelvic" - Not the best quality ones I've had, but starting to show some color. I have seen some in QLD lately so hopefully they'll make their way over here.
Metriaclima estherae "Minos Reef" - Dominate male
Labeotropheus hongi - Producing some good numbers of fry, with better color than the adults.
One coming your way soon Dicky
Labidochromis caeruleus - Starting to get a few nicely colored fry with deep black markings, this guy is only just 2cm.
Dimidiochromis compressiceps - Most people here would know this species has been a firm fav of mine since I started 20 odd yrs ago.
One of the species I dont mind the albino form of, scored this one from Morley last week.
Pundamilia nyererei
Picked a nice trio from Morley last week. Stunners for young fish.

1.5 - 2cm COME ON!!!! Maybe I'm just too old skool, but what happened to growing the fish out a bit. If it's not a dwarf species, it should be at least 3-4cm before its ready for sale. Some people shouldn't keep fish.

And lastly for today:

These would have to be the worst invention ever.... Ive seen so many deformed fish come out of these things, bent mouths bent heads etc. Terrible things.
Don't buy them, let the female hold naturally. And if you cant wait and have to strip them, let them hold for a week before you do.
Some will say "My female wont hold at all so I have to tumble them" No you don't, try, try and try again. If you don't succeed, maybe try another female. Or maybe its something in the tank that is causing her to spit. Move her to another tank, away from other fish and people walking past the tank...
Nobody likes a spitter
Rant over for today, The kids will awake soon and time to get ready for school..
