The river sand is amazing in a fish tank there are a lot of us using it. It's cheap and look 1000x better then play sand etc. get it you won't be disappointed.

Personally if there a x I'd get rid of them and get yourself some decent fish. Pure black belts are nice fish.
They only grow to size of tank hehehehehehehehehehehe some people will say anything to sell fish.

Set up the sump properly and you won't need a canister aswell. K media is fantastic.

Based on the PCS auction guidelines it's 3cm or half adult size which I think is a perfect guideline to follow.

You only want one Oscar then your wasting your time doing a fishless cycle. Get an Oscar throw it in feed every 2 days and water change twice a week for two weeks then 40% every week after. Increase feeding after 4 weeks and your done.
