I use 4L ice cream containers, washed with hot water only and then cut big windows, glue fly screen over the windows and attach foam to the top on each side to make it float and place my fry in that. The grown fish don't even bother it

G'day guys. I know it seems I'm changing my tank every five minutes but, how do people protect the glass backing of their tank when stacking rocks along the back? Or does everyone let it get scratched up? I don't plan to rest rocks against the glass exactly just may touch here and there. And what is the max weight I can place on one spot or stacking rocks around 2kg not really have much impact?
