go to the doctors to check out a lump on my upper arm close to the elbow... and he sends you down for scans and ultra sound... then they send you back up to your doctor who takes you straight back in and tells me i have a large blood clot hindered by a slightly enlarged lymph node and a resident lipoma...  12 viles of blood later then a quick injection in the guts to thin the blood and a pack of asprin and im on my way home...

i have very thick blood and i may be susceptable to deep vein thrombosis (i never knew as the only flying i have done is in cars!!!) and blood tests will show hopefully if im going to be prone to "throwing blood clots" and may show if i have had a stroke... i suffer from what is known as drop foot in my right leg since i was playing footy... but about 5 years ago the left leg has gone the same... maybe the result of an undetected stroke....

a possiblle cause could be from a hard impact in the area - but that hasnt happened so hopefully couple days and the bloods will shed some light on the cause... worst case scenario i wil be on half to one asprin a day till the end!!! :)  and i was still thinking im indestructable :)

im all good nothing serious... i have normal blood pressure and heart rate... but just a thick blood... seems to have resided a little today...

doctors all say a small dose of aspirin will prevent stroke and heart attack... as well as a glass of water just before bed.... and a glass water first thing in the morning....

now i think about it my old man had the same thing but he used a carton of VB every day to do the blood thinning :)

Yeah, be a sad old man in a convertible Lambo or latest series Merc!  Hang about on some sugardaddy type forum and hook up with cute commerce students looking to pay off their HECS debt  and make yourself feel young again! YAY!

Money can buy you back to young! Millions of middle aged men can't be wrong!

The bowls club can wait a year or two!
