If you have a mesh they can pass through and be separated from the parents in the tank that would work or if you have lots of plants for the babies to hide in and graze on.

or get yourself some endler guppies.... they are known not to eat their fry - although you may get an exception from time to time....
i breed blonde endlers for small feeders as they breed large numbers and eat almost none of them... and then every 28-30 days spit out another lot of fry - once females are reasonable size about 50-60 fry each time....

Just brought a heap of Guppies as the kids love them and would like to breed some for fish food. I have afew females pregnant and just wanted to no will I have to seperate the fry or will the survive inthe tank with the older guppies?

Lol that's one way to make your kids cry, buy guppies because you kids love them, then use them as feeders.

Yep! Endlers the way to go. Parents don't eat young, so no need to separate. For me, Endlers = Mangrove Jack Lollies!
