When I worked at Midland, I tried to get some of these in many many times, I finally got a pair in and sold them to someone who said they would breed them, but unfortunately they ended up dying from bad water conditions :(

Such a shame as they are stunning fish.

I bought a pair when I was in Melbourne about 10 years ago, the day after I got them home the female jumped out. :(

Keep them covered.

Hey Az the Herichthys bocourti would be cool
There was someone on a Facebook page saying she is now working in the fish section, and when I asked her if they would consider selling the RTC she said yes. I suppose anything is for sale if it's the right price. I might duck in there once I change things up in my tank. Would be easier than ordering a bunch of juvenile Cichlasoma Persei from the eastern states

Yeah gonna give bigger fish a crack
Always liked planted tanks, but I get bored quickly of fish. Would be ok if I had more than one display tank, then I would keep my fish longer. Would save a lot of money too.
Don't tell TCM I may be getting Americans..... Would never hear the end of it.......

Yerp young Brittany. (Brittany19) good chick and is turning the fish section around very quickly. Doing a great job imo.
Pity she can't get the hours though :(
Mmmmmm I doubt the RTC would be up for grabs, if it was the price would be off the dial!
The first owner sold the RTC to the next owners for $4k (I've seen the paperwork) so at a guess those owners sold it to the new owners or at least showed them the invoice. So they would think it would be worth $4k.

Pearsei are vegetarian so more fibre than protein

very peaceful but get large

Bocourti have the same temperament and similar size
