I was doing some things in my IBC today & when i put my hand in any small cuts on my hand felt like they were being shocked?

& when i lean on the bars around the ibc they feel sort of similar shocky.. :/

Does anyone know what this is? I have turned all power off to it at the moment just in case.

Thanks

I tested each plug & my heaters were doing it. I've removed them but I don't know how I'll heat it now, being outdoor I was running a few 300w on it haha

Step 1) Throw 'shorting' heater in bin

Step 2) Drive to LFS

Step 3) Exchange money for goods and services (New 300W Heater)

Step 4) Take heater home and plug it in....

:)

Also, maybe look at weatherproofing all your outdoor power connections then the heaters will run better?

OR just keep running with it but dont stick your hands in there with it turned on...

Couple of problems with my option:

1. Forget to  turn it off and problem gets worse and BAM, you might die!

2. Forget to turn heaters back on after fiddling with your fish and BAM, your fish might get chilly and die.

Arent fish the biggest pain in the arse!

Reminds me when my old aqua one AR-620 light lid fell into the aquarium whilst I was cleaning the aquarium. It wasn't explosive but it certainly gave me a reason to replace it  and scared me half to death.
