I've had my batch for a week now just put internal filters in all my tanks on my rack, since they have been in the 2 Cuban tanks they are a lot more happier and they seem to be swimming and feeding better with the water movement

Still here Matty just moved to another tank for now :)

I've noticed that too, all my tanks are pretty high flow and the Cubans really like the extra water movement!

Nice Riggers, that was a bargain.

Tell me about it!! I'm super happy I was able to get hold of a few, I'd been looking for something a little out of the ordinary :)

Stuey that tank looks great mate!! It's amazing what the yellow does for a colony of blue fish!!

Az you got some ripper shots mate! Nice batch of fish you picked up :) good to see ya bud :)

Didn't think they'd take long to settle, they're tough little fish and absolute pigs lol.

I was feeding them Hikari micro pellets and micro wafers with the occassional frozen spirulina fed brine ;)

I got their paretns in May, a bit smaller than some of those fry and the male is around 15cm now with the two breeding firls around 10cm.

Feed em well and they should explode in growth :)

If you look at the vids in teh Cuban post, you can tell exactly how old they are.

I got some Cubans too. And a big catfish that helped me set a new record on the way home, speed recommendations and traffic lights weren't going to slow me down that night.

Pigs isn't the word for my lot haha they have been smashing the food 2-3 times a day also found with a bit of driftwood in there tank they love it, i have been feeding them a mix of frozen brine shrimp & bloode worms as well as hikari gold sinking/carnivore/staple crushed up as well as another brand of sinking micro pellets that I matched the ingredient intake to hikari gold sinking I have 2 3x18x18 tanks 10 in 1 and 9 in another I am testing them out on different feedings 1 lot with micro sinking pellets and brine shrimp other tank with bloodworms and hikari mix so will see how they go I have a book with sizes feeding times and water change amounts/dates and both filtered by 2 large sponges and a 1500L/hr internal will keep everyone updated.

And cheers again ronny your a legend for helping us be able to keep these awesome fish Attached File  ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415269207.787537.jpg   179.56KB   4 downloads

Stuey another nice fish that would go well in that set up and make a nice colour contrast is the Tanganyikan Neolamprologus leleupi ( orange lelelupi ). Nice tank by the way, i like it but i'd like it even more with the lelelupi in it. :goodjob: :welldone:
