discus are pretty hardy as long as you give them clean water and good quality food. Smaller ones tend to be harder to acclimitise...if you can get them at >6cm, you'll have better success. Make sure you take your time to pick good healthy looking ones as I have seen a lot of sickly looking discus at the fish shops.

Thanks mate, exactly what I was going for.. A nice center piece & enough space for the discus to swim freely and still make their beauty & behaviour the main focus. This would have to be the best looking tank I've ever seen the scape is simple which is great as it doesn't subtract the awesome colour the discus are showing !!!!!!
They are not difficult, I've only had a few losses since I've started up. Quality varied diet + weekly water changes = successful!Wow very inspiring, I would love to try discus next, are they as hard as some ppl say to care for?

Thats an amazing tank and some beautiful discus fish as well mate.
What are the plants names that you have in there, and what temperature do you run your water at so the plants dont die?
