So I posted in the group buy but no one seemed interested.
I went ahead an ordered 10x air stones anyway and bought a pack of rubber bumpers (to protect the tank from any scratches).

I finalised my order on the 5th June. Today they arrived (from florida). :o
Holey shiz that was quick delivery lol

Anyway I will post a short review for anyone interesy after I test them out :)

Hi Chocky,

Are they the Sweet water AS4 diffusers?

If you don't mind me asking what did you end up paying for them including delivery?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,

yup it sure is

shipping was about $30-35 for the 10 plus the rubber bumpers. it just wasn't cost effective to only buy one or two.

i have them on gumtree selling for $15, but any PCS members want to buy any, please PM and i can do $12 each.

thanks :)

Hi Chocky,

What's the difference between these and the standard air stones? Do they stop from blocking up?

Thanks

hey Jason

yup they are suppose to resistant to blocking. i have just chucked one in my ranchu tub that has no filter, so i'm gonna see how long they hold up. i had those regular blue colour round air stones, and they blocked up pretty quickly.

heres the link where i ordered them from:

here's a video of a girl i follow on youtube who uses them

I have used these air-stones before, and they are certainly amongst the best I have come across. A great advantage with them is that they can be cleaned ( I used 25% hydrochloric acid). this is important as ALL air-stones WILL clog eventually.

I do, however consider the price unreasonable, as with all Sweetwater gear, despite the acknowledged quality. I have recently reverted to using cheap stones, which can still be cleaned until such time as they simply disintegrate, then I just replace them.

Syd.

Hi maxy
No sorry none that I want to part with. I sold 5x dirt cheap a few months ago so was out of pocket quite a bit.
You Could try organise a group buy if people were keen?
They are actually reasonably priced but the shipping is the killer
