Its quite large do you think it could filter a tank of about 10 jumbo cyprichromis and 5 paracyprichromis?

I have a couple of 4x1.5x1.5s and they both have 1,000l/h filters on them. Never had a problem but I wouldn't want to run less than 1,000l/h.

i was going to keep the fronties, but it's 10 para's and 10 livua I asked the breeder and she said that she had around those numbers plus gobies shellies and some others!Frontosa+10 jumbo cyprichromis and 5 Paracypchromis all in a 4ft..... You'd be best looking at getting a 6x2x2 for that, and a 2000lph/2500lph canister filter, they'd be extremely crammed and under filtered in a 4ft! Jumbos get around 15cm and fronties around 20/25cm...
I'm looking for a 1500l/h filter the tank is 265L so I think even a little over filtration won't hurt! What brand and what would the filter be called (external canister) thanks!

No offence but how is 5 times an hour overfilltration? All my tanks are 8-10x-hour as the more times you turn over a tank the better, obviously not a 2000lph filter in a 20l, but you get what I mean

5x the total water volume per hour is reasonable, the point to the 4x per hour rule is to maintain the correct contact time with your media. This becomes an issue with sumps but not really applicable for canisters as they do a set flow rate and recommend the right size, lt/hr canister for your tank
