Freo blew it yet again, i thought they played the better in general of the two teams but again couldn't kick straight when directly in front of goal. They also made some critical blunders inside their defensive 50 that Ciril pounced on. The Hawks will need to play a lot better next week if they want to win BACK TO BACK TO BACK. I'd just like to say to the Freo fans, TOODALOO and could you please close the door on the way out.

and i was right on hey sandy!!!
hawthorn looked far the better team all day in my opinion...
to be honest i couldnt care who wins from now on... as long as freo lost... get so sick of hearing freo fans - were gonna win this year blah blah blah
my message to freo/fans -> dont swim on freo beaches as its dangerous -> cause there's no flags

Can't say all the Freo supporters were feral though. I'm an Eagles supporter, and have found that (from what I've seen) the most feral supporters are West Coast or Collingwood.
I don't like Hawthorn, especially Lake who is a dirty thug, but booing his kids is not cool..... Some footy fans just can't handle their mid strength. Well done Hawthorn, you were the better side. They'll be tough to beat next week at the G

The finals pretty much went the way i expected, although North Melb went further than i thought they would. I hate saying this but i think it is going to be the year of the Eagle, as the Eagles are also in the SA grand final. Fingers crossed i'm wrong.

well sandy eagles are gonna have to rewrite history... no team has lost twice to the same team in any finals series afl/vfl for past 70 odd years....
so history says your gonna win.... and to be honest not sure who the bookies are gonna run with as being favourites but this match could well go either way...
hawks experience will be a big factor... and the fact they dont care about any suspensions so it will be all out dirty play by hodgy , mitchell and lake to name a few... they could all retire this year who knows.... nothing to worry for them guys....
even with taggin shuey and gaff eagles have too many ball winners around nic nat... and sinclair is pulling his weight now too.... ruck department is def an issue for hawks as hale and mcovoy are getting old too... so if west coast dominate middle hawthorn could struggle...

The way both teams have been playing in the finals i think the Eagles have the edge, although we do have the home ground advantage. Either way both teams will have to play at their very best if they want to win and i feel Hawthorn have not really done that all year. Head says Eagles, heart says Hawks.
