they are normally poking out or wait for air bubbles just dont get mixed up with the air bubbles from marron

Not sure, I don't actually intend to eat them... Apparently they don't taste as good as the saltwater ones...

yes they taste disgusting and when they die they smell very bad i guess thats why they can set of a tank.

i had some big aknown snail came on a plant, my cichlids took every chance to lay into him so eventually they bit his eyes of... he lived for another year!
but then the block head managed to get into his shell and rip him up, so i have a big snail shell was thinking of using it as a cabinet nob
