What do you think is happening in this tank? :) ee2e363ceef61fe2cdfaad1f0244b375.jpg7c8b9113440c00aa1941d93685f92786.jpg *Chris you are not allowed to say since you know!

At a guess - substrate wasn't washed enough and water was added. That is why the bottom half appears to be darker than the top - either the sediment has started to sink to the bottom already or the light is having a harder time penetrating to the bottom due to the suspended particles.

It does seem too obvious though.

Seems like it will be something ridiculous though.

A highly accurate South American biotope... muddy water with heaps of red clay in suspension?

You listened to werdna talking about seeding a tank with your own urine for ammonia but got confused when the time came and used your faeces instead. Apparently the night before was curry night.....

Yep, that makes sense, Poncho... a wholly natural Ganges River biotope... vindaloo surprise .!!   Now Mattia just needs a few (blind) mullets floating in there  ;)

Definitely looks like a home brew fermenting.. I am going for a Canadian Blonde lager as a guess.

If it's homebrew, yep, I will come over and try it out.

If it's Werdna self seeding a tank, yea nah!

Likely some sort of under substrate,,, which needs time to settle before capping off with the finished top layer of substrate to lock it down.
Specialist technique for growing plants.... Maybe.

Hahaha werdna you cracked me up!
Did a complete water change, that's the result...

9cee76a90b12512a8cb04e46509ebfbf.jpg

Nothing changed yet :(

Androo wanted Red sand ..... So I got it, we washed, washed, washed a washed it... It became clear! But it was only 10kg
We washed the other 50kg but not as well as the previous one, and that's what happened.
Hopefully it will clear up ONE DAY.... It's so fine it could be almost dust.

Thanks for the funny comments, I didn't have curry last night !!!!
