I just made some for my end panels of my 8x3x2.5 and a big rock for the middle of my tank.
Before you go any further, have you thought about how are you going to get a 7x2x2 non flexible background into a tank with straps along the top??.
may pay to cut it up and make it in sections, just a thought cause i had the same issue

the rock has a terracotta pot inside it, so its basically hollow but i left a hole in the top for the water to get down inside so the upwards preasure of a 2 foot airbubble wouldnt rip it off the bottem, i plan to silicon it on first so my catties and gigas dont knock it around

I really want to have a go but worried i'll just make a big mess of it! :?
May be one day one of you could make a video of how its done to get a better idea of the whole process, ive read cobbys instructions but nothing beats actually seeing it done in real life.
Might have to give it a crack in the mean time trial and error i suppose.

Have to get me brushes out
But im confedient it will work out
Spoke to Craig and we agreed not to go grey like the picture but more brown like drift wood
At the moment it looks crap in the photos but im taking them through the door of the shed and this is just a base coat 8O
i will drag it out of the shed tomorow stand it up and get a better pic of it
But it is by no means finished yet
Regards Cobby
