So to answer your question. They are not noxious; however you bring them across from over east at risk of losing them.

next thing we know they'll chuck goldfish in there too.. what annoys me too, half the fish your allowed over east..
we're not allowed here.

i recall seeing an ad for aquatic plants somewhere, nice ones for cheap, but WA was excluded off the shipping list, and it was listed saying due to importing restrictions. They're plants.
i think Customs need's to concentrate more on people trafficking illegal items rather than us importing fish, for an ornamental hobby.

i realy doubt one of the sponsers would bring then in at this stage, however you may be able to talk to them maybee pay all cost up front for them to do it and sell them off your self

Jules, to answer your question. You can bring them in yourself Just have to organise with a supplier over east to ship them to you. It might be an idea to do it as part of a group buy. You just have to be aware that you take the risk that the fish may be siezed at the airport by AQUIS.
