Seems like 70% of your cash is lining the pockets of this dodgy charity org, presumably the other 30% went on bullets used to kill civilians at peaceful protests.

To be honest - Africa is a lost cause and any dollar that goes there usually ends up in the pocket of militants.

I didn't watch the video as I dismissed it as the ordinary propaganda that comes out of Africa.

Your IC message is far more negative, just dressed up with bogus positive spin.

The target for legit charities is 10% of collected money goes to salaries etc.

IC keeps at least 70%. The other 30% - they are more than a bit cagey about what they do with that too.

If I want to put that in a negative light I will, and no semi-literate is going to tell me otherwise.

Yeah, I guess main difference being that Australia doesn't tend to have the tens of millions dying from starvation, civil war or disease.

I am not personally not supporting the "Kony 2012", as I preselect my charities for the year - but neither am I going to cut down a guy that chooses to and wants to spread the word encouraging others to check it out.

our elderly people get a raw deal... better off donating to the elderly australians - the ones that fought for this country and made it what it is today....

and remember chances are - you'll be old too one day and will need help.... smile.gif

Invisible children (the organisation behind the video) is a shady charity with suspicious dealings. They supply funds for weapons and ammo to the Sudan People's Liberation Army - who also deal in child soldiers, and are thought to have engaged in gang rapes, corruption, torture etc.
