hi just thought i might show off what all my money has been pouring into as of lately 8)


it took ages to get that far and look no water


400L of sea water later


lights on


inside my lighting hood


my Great barrier reef live rock turned up after 2 weeks of agony


no flash and no metal hallides on yet


me playing with my refugium nearly got it finished......


my skimmer going off its nut :twisted:


something that needs to be hooked up when the sump is installed


something else for the sump.

its still cycling, i will definately post updates but im just in the middle of a
few things happening in my life so be patient, they will come biggrin.gif

no fish as of yet but its a 4x2x2 and its 60kg of live rock

It will be a beautiful tank once done, so you might not even buy fish?

jack the protien skimmer was 550, the or6500 was 350, the calcium reactor was another 550 so the rock wasn't a real shock

Nice tank Simon,
can i ask why dont you put all your equipment in your Refugium/sump.
Nick you reckon 8kg's cost you alot, one of the tanks i do has 1200kgs in there 8O

steve i will do just in the process of finishing off the sump. its just a stop gap till i finish it

Oh sweet mate, in my opinion nothin worse than setting up a $$$$ tank and having all your equipment in the way. Keep me in mind if you need anything like products or fish or whatever

Hi all new update
I have some new additions cause the cycle went through rather fast

thats the tank setup as it is now,

i wasn't happy the way the rock was stacked so i changed it.

finaly got the fuge filled and running 8)
and here is some new additions




and my favorite

more updates will come with time.
