Posted 07 February 2008 - 12:40 PM
Starts 8pm prompt.
The doors will open at 7pm, Lots must be booked in by 7.45pm.
The selling of Lots is open to members only
You can join as a PCS club member on the night prior to the Auction.
Non-Financial Members pay 10% commission on the sale amount
The auction is for anything “fish related ” including any species of fish, (not hybrids)
Rocks, Gravel, Substrate, Bogwood, Heaters, Filters, Lights, Plants & Tank Accessories.
Pictures of mature/adult fish will be projected onto the screen if Lots are registered prior to the 1st of March.
Email your lots for sale to Dave, meATdavidfowler.net –
All fish must have full correct name & be bagged correctly. FISH BAGGED INCORRECTLY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No sandwich bags or ziplock bags allowed.
THERE WILL BE A $1 CHARGE FOR RE-BAGGING FISH
At the last Auction two of the Committee members spent over an hour re-bagging fish that had been bagged very poorly and some were disgusting.
The PCS reserves the right to remove lots which are diseased or do not comply with its regulations (this includes ALL hybrids).
We would ask ALL members to be more considerate to other members and refrain from talking whilst bidding is in progress. If these certain members feel the need to chat, then please leave the Auction room and have your chat outside. Many members feel this is not only rude but very inconsiderate.
There will be supper available at the interval.
Hope to see you all there.

Posted 28 February 2008 - 06:42 PM
1 x 2 Longfin Normal Bristle Nose (3.5-4.0cm SL; 4.5-5.0cm TL)
a couple of lots of Normal Bristle Nose (>6cm TL)
Also below are some old pictures of the caves that I will be bringing. I used to make them as doubles but now prefer singles. I will be brining mostly 40mm ones (second from left, first photo). It is also very easy to coat the outside of the PVC with silicone and gravel/sand from your tank to hide it in a display. They are constructed using PVC glue and Locktite. As you can see from the first photo they also have some of the tile protruding beyond the top of the cave. This allows this fish to sit on the same material inside and out of the cave.
