I am stating a FACT.
MY bn bred in 12 degree water.
i wont call you a liar but i will have to see this with my own eyes to believe it... fry would not survive at this temp... adults barely survive at this temp....
perhaps you can check your thermometer and maybe test it against a few others to confirm its accuracy...
do you know any of the other paremeters... ph gh kh no3 ???
one possible answer to this is you have a heater running in your tank and the b/n are all huddled nearby the heater surviving in the warmth in close proximity of the warmer water... and when you read the thermometer it gives the temp of tank not adjaecent temp to the heater....
