Recived my filters today. The pick up tube and spray bar are in clear plastic.
Being it is a show tank and the back of the tank is painted black would it be ok to replace the tube with black retic poly of the same size.
So that it blends in
Ie is it safe to use?

or in the cab below the tank?
Mate if it is below the tank i could make you a stainless steel t peice
just need to know the id of the main hose you want to tee into and post it to you to try
it will be a frebie Mate for you to try
Dont know if stainless is ok in tank water but i have made heaps of stuf
for hosptail operating theraters so i would say it would be fine!

ive got 3 large returns for the bottom of the tank using large pipe and rain water tank pick ups using them backwards (lols sounds like me)
ive got plenting of ideas just thinking the presure on the pipes and airline fittings for a 8x3x2 pluss 7200 lph
i need more time to think witch way im going to go its harder then you think trying to keep accesories to a minimal in the tank e.g none :?
