Has anybody asked a LFS if they can do a deal for 50 Tapajos?
Let me help a few of you out a bit....
(Please excuse the phone pics)
Tapajos around 8cm - first males starting to show colour
Rio Pindare 5cm
Leucosticta 10-15cm
Heckelii 4-10cm
Ellioti - straight bodied - Terry would be happy... 4-5cm
Plus others - PCS discounts as usual - no need to work out how to get them from the airport or distribute them.... All in good nick - no transport stress or losses..... You can pick one or more, hand pick what you want, not get stuck with stunted ones...
If someone wants to discuss a group buy for numbers of anything we carry, feel free.

I only have approx. 20 OH Tapajos left, Altifrons will be ready in a couple of weeks and I have decided to sell some of my juvie Brachybranchus.
In saying all that... Mr_Docfish has a nice range and quantity. I'm probably shooting my foot off but why pay for shipping when you have an LFS supplying already.
Happy to send though
Cheers,
Rob

You guys should definitely be getting onto those altifrons.
They are one of the nicest geos available but not available very often.
What locale (if known) are the altifrons Rob? I may be interested if they're Tocantins

What's the difference between altifrons and brachybranchus?

Nope, I sold Rob a different speices.
Main difference with most of the altifrons is the latteral spot and size. They get a bit bigger than brachybranchus and have a small to no latteral spot.
There were some in WA a few years ago, Den sold some very nice ones and I beieve Colin had some too but they aren't as common anymore.
That would be something worth bringing into WA

If I end up getting some I will definitely try to breed them.

Hey Ollie,
As weird as this sounds given the type of fish I keep, I grabbed one of those Tapajos the other day. There was a nice male just starting to colour up so I had to have him but there were quite a few others starting to colour up.
Given the size and price they're a bargain, I've seen other shops selling them for 1/3 the size and the same price.
