Ya it was I was more worried about the tank as it was under braced and banged up in a few places but it was cheap enough to take the gamble
I just added over lapping bracing around the top and it's been running over 6 months now no problem at all.
Hahaha.

Think the sci name is Geophagus surinamensis

i hate geos sometimes, apparently surinamenssis is quite rare around the world, most hobbyists have brachybranchus, thats what im gonna sell mine as, or just 'Red Horseface' similar to the rio brancos, but have vertical stress bars and a thinner body

I'm going to be loading the garage with fish tanks as well, but wondering how are you going to insulate the tanks in the garage? Will you build a wall around the section the tanks are sitting? Surely it would get too hot in summer if it's in the garage, and the heating cost would be quite a bit in winter with the heaters going flat out? Maybe wrap the tanks in foam?

My plan is to get a reverse wall mounted cycle unit installed to control heat and cold.
At the moment I'm running one heater per 3 racks and is keeping the temp at a steady 25-26 so really happy with that.
