whats your future plans for the fish man? what sorta setup would you need to house a small group of temensis? IM assuming they would be best suited to a pond? i have never seen a 4ft wide tank... and assuming 1m is 3ft you would want that extra 1ft of wide for them to manouvere in....

not much info on that one do a search for Cichla Fogo there are heaps of variants of peacock bass
i think its up to 15 different species heaps of nice ones just impossible to get over here

i cant remember where but i read somewhere that apparently there is x's of peacock bass in the rivers include monoc x temensis

ill try and find it

In the rivers in florida (everglades) their are temensis x monoc and ocellaris x monoc kicking around.

tems will always be the kings but the fogo would defintily be the aire to the thrown, i really wouldnt mind havin one or two or three or as many as i could get

ps i just hand fed one of my monocs and its only bout 6cm im pretty stoked

Nice Fish guys
check out a few peruviun sites to see more Pbass, i personally like the Orinoco varients though most are stunning
check out www.aquabonito.com for a good list and good pics of some colour and sp varients
