What was the purpose behind this ? Because of the background ? or just neatness ?
Where is the out let in the tank i cant see it ?
im sold on that background also.. where did you locate that

Thanks for the comments, the plumbing was done for several reasons: neatness, ease of use for water changes, efficiency for waterchanges (big pipes = less time it takes to drain).
The outlet is on the upper left hand corner, there's a small hole in the background where the pipe goes in.
I use a largish water pump to drain the tank, it connects to the drain outlet and a large hose runs to the garden.
The background was supplied and installed by Aquotix.

Awesome job,, That top 8 footer would loook great on a high gloss white or black cabinet and hood...
Have you changed that hose connection ? as that reduces it back to 12mm yeah ?
