Internal measurements are 2 Metres L 75cm W 90cm High (to the overflow pipe) = 1350 Litres full

i was going to make compartments... but i think i'll just chuck media in there... i dont think it will really make a difference.....

i have a bunch of jap filter matting which will be for bacteria, as for filtration i have some fine filter wool i grabbed at aquotix. The overflow will run through that then into the sump.

i'm also running air driven sponge, with a UPS as redundancy, but ive never had a power problem.

Awesome to watch your progress Matt...everything looks very professsional and well thought through...obviously you will be breeding and growing out fry...any thought on what species your planning to have a crack at? What have you got now? What do you hope to add?

Having a crack at... hmm dont know but when its finished watch out at the auction lol.

At the moment i have EY / mainganos / venustus, acara, red devil, dimi comp, quite alot of tangs (cheers midland) demasoni, vc10, neo trets, severums, mixed bag of everything really.

adding barramundi soon for aquaponics, and i wouldnt mind getting more dimi comps they are awesome!

I wonder what wonderful things you'll find growing up in that sump in years to come. You might be able to go fishing with a rod and reel like Spencer Jack did around their breeding ponds lol.
