I think Midland Aquarium used to have one from memory? They've gone up in price in the last 12 months. Must not have had a good breeding year. I've been up in the air about getting one for 18 months now

One of this years cod
Little Mangrove Jack smashing a tank mate.
Mangrove Jack looking for more feeders.
2 Tier 4x1.5x1.5 set up I built... Not quite finished yet but looking good so far. Little Murray Cod on top and the Mangrove Jack below. Awesome to watch these two great predators in action. Interesting to watch the different hunting styles. The Jack runs them down and mauls them. The Cod waits in ambush then launches a quick attack, if he misses in the first attack he wont chase, just retreats and waits for the next chance.

I recently got some Mogurnda adspersa to add to the collection. I wish I got them sooner
Red Jewel ruined the shot.
I enjoy watching them eat and feed. They expend as little energy as possible to do what is required which makes them fantastic to watch.

I will have some decent australia rainbows (kangaroo creek, oyster creek etc.) and 3 empire gudgeon for sale later this week. I have only New Guinea rainbows that I am keeping and adding to, as the australian rainbows are causing too much stress to some of my delicate plants. If anyone has an interest in either send me a pm, or they will be advertised sometime this week in classified section.

Sorry to hear that mate. Sucks losing a fish you like, especially a TB.

Thanks mate, I actually don't know. I changed him to a different tank & overnight he died.
I don't know if maybe he hurt himself on a rock/wood when i was catching him and that did some damage?
Made me so sad to see him upside down the next morning

My Missus actually yelled at me about that! Told me I shouldnt have moved him, blah blah blah. All good in hindsight.
I checked ph and ammonia, ph was the same as the old tank, ammonia was 0. I never worked it out and actually I forgot about it till now.
Do You reckon you will get another one?
PS your jack looks so pissed off in that photo... like he hates and wants to kill everything!
