I really doubt it will get to 20 cm , I presume you read that from somewhere on the internet ? If your is actually 15 cm you are pretty lucky to have one grow that big as they usually grow anywhere between 8 -12 cm. Dont always beleive everything on the internet. Go on 10 websites and you get 10 different answers

15cm is maximum size of a gudgeon (purple spots anyways) measured and it was captive grown, spoke to dave from aquagreen a while back and he had never seen one over 15cm and he's been catching them for donkeys years, a p bass in a 6x2 will die before it reaches maturity or will look rank and probably develop some sort of spinal disease as when it hits 2 foot it will pop your front panel off, a large p bass will eat anything which fits in its mouth, and if you have seen a mature grown pbass's mouth, it could easily fit a portion of my leg in its mouth

good luck keeping this in a 6x2

Captive peacock bass easily exceed 2 foot in length, alot of fish exceed sizes found in wild when in captivity, so yes i do think it could get that big given ideal conditions, your the joke who thinks he's catching them in a local lake, and apparently houses peacock bass along side small sized natives, who thinks he's "upgrading" from a 5x3x2.5 oh sorry 5x2x2 my bad, typo, keys are all over the place tonight, and then you claim purple spots get halve as round as they do long. I mean your consistent if anything ill give you that, constantly talking crap

I think you should take a look at some of the p bass threads posted by members on here because they quite often reach 60 cm and beyond

Guys, thats it, I have had enough with personal attacks and bitching.
It stops now or the thread gets locked and every post that in anyway resembles a personal attack gets deleted.

Thread should have been locked and deleted a long time ago.

I've personally owned Pbass that were 60cm + the thing would have eaten a cat if I allowed it to do so. A purple spotted gudgeon would have been engulfed before it hit the water and that is no exaggeration.

edit - spelling
