Slaying the pinks jeff well done!

Seabreeze has predicted a good start to the day tomorrow, so I'll be up at sparrows. I'll be behind rotto while most people are still enjoying some sleep!

Hopefully a nice report to follow.

Best of luck, will do a wind check and may hit 20 mile spot early, generally give it a miss when N/E blowing.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of a NE drift. But low wind and swell and I'm generally out there.

Nice work. Offshore mulloway, nice!

I had a day to forget, a few problems with the boat and didn't catch a whole heap myself other than a couple undersized demersals. My mate did alright though with a nice queeny and baldy.

Not a bad session in friday, trolled out to rotto, 1 sambo, then worked our marks aling the northern side. Lots of bites & small stuff. Finally found the fish at around 55m west of rotto. Double hookup of size dhuis, some breaksea & a stonking KG. My mate dropped a huge dhui as well. All on one drift.
We went back over heaps of times, then realised the gps had glitched so had no idea where the lump was, bummer.

Az- the snapper put up a good account for themselves in the shallow water. Taste not too bad either!

Where's the pics at Pauly?

And have been keeping the occy's for a feed too
One day when we have time we'll use some occy leg to have a go for some KG

These are from pots.
We are thinking of buying a hookah shortly and having a go on a few spots around rotto.
Just don't have the time to make a day of it for diving... And my buddy had a close encounter so he isn't too keen just yet!

Plenty of good spots around rottnest for free diving for crays. I did well last summer mostly in less than 5m of water.

I have a sickness and addiction to having line peeled so spend all my fishing time with a rod in hand.

No pics, not really special enough, just oversize most of them apart from the kg.
We were lazy, should have hit the fads for dollys with the conditions, the ne wind had us fooled early.

Haha. Don't go giving fisheries any ideas...

Catching loads of good size bream in the Maylands area, can't tell you the exact spot though. It's my 'secret spot'. Lol

7 Crays today, overshadowed by a snapped rope (I think a prop had hit it) so we lost that pot, and another pot stolen

Diving on the one with broken rope tomorrow, might see what I can grab while down there with remaining air if I find our pot quick enough.

Honestly, why steal a cray pot? They are $50 on gumtree, if you can't afford that how do you afford bait and the fuel to get out there to pull it?

There were heaps of schools of fish out there today, some big bounces were coming up on the sounder, might have to wet a line next time we are out there and see what else we can catch
