Actually, real men drive a Nissan Leaf. If the power goes out in your house, you can plug the car into it and run off the batteries for a couple of days. Think of the fishies!

Thats a nice car Daz! Always loved the RX7s out of the RX series!

How do you think she will go over the pits? Hopefully there wont be too much hassle!

It's an amusing thread though.

It's like sitting on a street corner listening to old men argue about which brand of steam engine is best. They talk fondly of the hissing noises and think the sound one of these new diesels make somehow unmanly...

I never got the car thing. It's a conveyance, not a personal statement. If you made it yourself it would be a personal statement, but it's all about choosing a fairly broad stripe of design in a colour you like and pretending there is a difference between a grey or beige or black velour/vinyl interior.

It's like women and frocks, IMO. wink.gif

As to the waaayy louder than necessary exhausts... please... Compensating for something?

That having been said, I hope you get much joy from it smile.gif

Hey Paul

Will prob have to de-mod her a bit prior and/or get permits. Hopefully not too much hassle! QLD supposed to be more strict than WA.

This car looks different (keeps ppl guessing) and is prob pretty loud too (from the vids I've seen) but my main appeal is having a track car with some street appeal... best of both worlds smile.gif

It's a beautiful car, you very rarely see an RX7 as nice as that in Perth! Good luck over the pits! smile.gif

8cyl commodore with some work done is a glorious thing
8cyl falcons are a waste of time unless you get the new 335kw motor from the current gt

Im talking more carburated motors, old school rules.
In saying that with the fords my mate has a supercharged fpv gs, with about 6k worth a work, punches little over 500 rwhp. The car makes you smile when you plant foot.
But in comparisson to a holden, 3-4 grand for a cam upgrade possible head work etc, youll see the good of 400+ rwhp with ease.

efi all the way, carbies are out dated paper weights. If you want fast get a Motor bike, still cheaper than modding a car and you can drag off highly modded cars with out modding the bike........

Right so lets all go spend tens of thousands of dollars making a car or bike go as fast as it can, when in reality all your achieving is the ability to get to the speed limit and next set of lights quicker then me ! I can really so how it's appealing smile.gifsmile.gif

190+ hp at the wheel, i would want all the sticky rubber i can get to stay on the tyre, screw burnouts all they do is prematurely wear out your driveline and cost heaps of money.

Simon, have you seen the Isle of Mann TT. That's something a car could never do.
Daz, you got the car WA registered yet?
