Was never really interested in tank busters until I saw this bad boy, intensely boring for first couple of minutes but got me interested when owner approached tank.

@Jeff, you'd have to do a top up after every feeding.. That thing is vicious!

That is a monster Dovii

I miss mine, they are stunning fish, mine wasn't anywhere near that aggressive though.

It used to eat all the goodies from my aquaponics and always begged for more

One year I'll stick some in the AP tank over summer and pump them full of feed...

I've had a few dovii over the years but nothing this big or crazy!! I just picked up 5 grow outs from Aquotix yesterday so hoping to get a crazy bastard out of them :) Plenty of gill flaring going on already trying to claim the prized real estate in the tank

that dovii is nothing compared to the one i saw when i was on holidays in qld .. i visited Rastinger82 who is member of this forum... his male would head but the glass and fly along following him and just ramming the glass... you could pretty see the tank shake...

What's the 'manly rating' for plecos?

Surely they can't be very manly because of how they smooch up on the glass!
