I don't have any clout, never used clout, but just trying to get some more info - it might get some members giving you other suggestions.

In my opinion you are not getting much response as not many members carry Clout as a standby.
It is not widely available in WA, plus it is also a bit pricey to have just laying around.
I assume you are using the Clout for Bloat.....what makes you think you have Bloat.
Have you looked at other causes for your present troubles ? Tropheus are renowned for their need for stable water conditions, especially gH & kH.
What are your gH, kH, pH and Nitrate readings ?

I have used it to great effect on my red forest jewels before.
Get a small tit pipette or similar, and either A) syringe directly in to the fishes mouth (never tried this method, seemed too invasive), or drop small droplets of it in front of the fish They float down slowly. Even ones that weren't eating seemed to be happy to take this when I used this method. When they take the droplet in, you see it cloud out around the gills, but some goes down into their stomach.
I never lost a fish to bloat using this method. I have never kept Tropheus, but this worked a treat on my Red Forests.
Good luck

the figures should be higher but because i have been changing water daily so it's hard to keep it constant
call a mobile vet come around tonight...will cost a bit but at least i can save the colony!
they don't eat so what you rekon the cause may be....the guy that have the other half of the batch experiencing same proplem (trofius on tropheusfanatics) as me and i have been keeping tropheus for sometimes...
some other bugs going on this batch from Chris i think Col...they are droping like flies both me and trofius...ar what the hell...i am not giving up yet...wait till tonight the vet will cut them out...
still distress

I was not being critical of your fish keeping practices, I was merely starting off with the basic requirements for diagnosis.
Judging by your posts I would assume that your water parameters were all good, and they are pretty spot on, but we have to start somewhere & sometimes the obvious is overlooked.
Lets hope the Vet can shed some light on your problems & provide you with the correct medication.

There is nothing stronger than the products you have used, so the problem is most probably not treatable. Give your fish the best water quality possible and let nature unfold, you might get lucky, and maybe you can trade with the other guy with what you have left.
Now you know why these fish are so damn expensive, and the German suppliers want to trans-ship the fish right after arrival from the lakes and the importers in Australia are always trying to offload them quickly, or even better, have them pre-ordered or pre-sold. This is also why you very rarely see these fish in LFS - we've already been stung and learned from it.
To bring them in as you have done, is the only way the public will be able to bring them in cheaply (it would be more expensive if you were to buy them from your local, as you would know - but your local will have to wear the losses, including, to a certain degree, what you loose!).
Sorry to hear you are having such problems..... I am in no hurry to do my own German shipment, it's not worth the stress... now you all know why.

1. the amount of metro/dimetro that we have been treated the fishes should have been more than enought to sort out the bloat issues!
2. must be something else that cause the death
- took gill + swap samples of some of the fish put them under the microscope and found:
1. white spot (external baterial) -- not visible to naked eyes...but we did took a video of the baterial and will have it post for you guys to see.
2. gill swollen --> irritation --> internal baterial infection --> unknow type
3. he then goes on to say that metro/dimetro only fix the positive gram or something and very little of the negative etc (i wasn't sure all the details but he will email the pictures of the bateria i will ask for more explanation)
4. - he gave a new med that will fix all (neg/pos/internal/external)--> basically all you can eat powder
name:Aquaflox and the active ingredient is Enrofloxacin (which he said the interstate vet may only have injectable form ie expensive)
this Aquaflox will almost certainly kill all your canister bateria... so i must check the water condition daily and no feeding for five days. Then try to feed with metro soaked food then water change then aquaflox for another 5 days...all and all 15 days treatment.
- i have to get some whitespot treatment from LFS tues and sort this out right away
he did not said whether the fish will be all right...but said he hopes they do as the fish look alright...active...not sunken
will update later
cheers
