Hi, would just like to kno how much a 2 inch Barra is worth and if anybody would be interested in picking him up in butler for that price. Don't get your hopes up, doesn't mean I'm selling him yet lol. Might grow him up big and fat.

Cheers Keelan

+1 Barra fingerlings are pretty well worthless. Even foot long barra are only worth $15 - $30.
Grow him up. Barra make the best pets. Very friendly. Mine used to let me handle him, no problems at all. Great fun to feed too.

I don't really trust them, got a gabby there that was totally covered in temno worm, more for aquaponics though I guess.

I dont buy fish from there... similar experiences.

Aussie natives nearly always require parasite control. Only exception is usually the aquarium market species like toga's, archers, rainbows and scats. Stuff like cod, perch, jacks and grunters are wild caught or commercially bred, usually for aquaculture industry or fishery stocking programs and not so much for the aquarium trade. You must quarantine all natives. Watch for stuff like white spot and flukes they are very common, more so the flukes.
