When keeping Long nose Whips, make sure they are getting plenty of algae wafers or something similar.
Keep the water clean as they don't like Nitrates and will suffer if there is high readings.
Make sure to have plenty of oxygen in the tank, a flow in the tank will also help.
Don't keep them at higher temps either.
They make a great addition to most community aquariums, just stay clear of nipping species as the LNWT's have very long extensions on their caudal fins.
They have been bred in aquariums, but the fry can be tricky to raise.

pH - 6-7.0
GH -75 - 200ppm
Temp - 22 - 26c

They prefer a tank with subdued lighting, or the addition of some Blackwater extract.
