No pain no gain, if you go home early then you will miss out on all the really good stuff. So toughen up princesses.

Lol yea I did and I can be naturally bossy, so he just said ok.
I think he feels a little threatened by me so he doesn't really question what I do.
He also knows I get in and do my job, so he knows I'll get it all done when I get there. ;)

Just a reminder to all sellers.

I don't want to be an A-hole!

But I will be stopping any bags that:

1: Have fish NOT at LEAST 3cm in length (4cm + would be ideal) exceptions are dwarf species.
2: NOT up to standard (deformed, hybrids inc Flowerhorns & fish that have been bashed by other fish)
3: Bags that have way too much water in them. Plants DONT need to have much water, enough to keep them moist. Fish only need a QUARTER of the bag filled. Fish don't run out of water, but they will run out of air.
4: A bag that has too many fish in the one bag.
A good example of how many per bag:
3cm - 5cm Small species - 5 - 10 to a bag (sm-med bag)
5cm - 10cm Med species - 2 - 5 to a bag (med-lrg bag)
10cm + Large species - 1 - 2 to a bag (lrg bag)

The above may seem harsh, but to me fish just aren't fish! They are my first priority when it comes to being in a bag for an extended period of time.
Please visit your LFS to grab some bags. If you go to Officeworks and grab some SIZE 30 rubber bands, they are a very good size to work with.
If you have trouble with tying bags, ask your LFS to show you how to do it. While your there grab yourself a poly box or 2 to bring your fish in. Most LFS will be happy to give them to you for free.

If you have any questions or issues with the above, please don't hestitate to contact me via PM.
If your not comfortable contacting me, there is 7 other Committee members to contact ;)

Hope to see you all at the auction, there is some great species and plenty to choose from.

I wanted to bring this up again as a reminder to people coming on Tuesday night, Can we all keep in mind the noise factor as well.

Tomorrow is the big day!!!

This is shaping up to be one of the best auctions ever with a great variety of lots and plenty of them too!!! Great to see electric yellows making a comeback :)

Guys, we do have a lot to go through and committee will be making every effort to keep the night from going into the wee hours. You can assist by bidding loud and clear and keeping background noise to a minimum. I'll be auctioneering like no tomorrow so if you hesitate, you're likely to miss out :(

Sellers we are endeavouring to register lots between 7:00 and 7:45pm. Please assist by bringing lots in as early as you can - we can't process 200 lots at 7:40pm and still run on time. If you haven't arrived by 8, it will be too late and your lots will be withdrawn. If you haven't booked your lots with Kleinz prior to Friday then don't bother bringing them.

Remember - no alcohol allowed, sellers pay 10% commission, non-members also pay 10% commission, no loans and no responsibility borne by the club if your lot isn't what you expected or does not survive. you can find out the seller and we'll leave it to you to sort out with them. So sellers make sure you bag well and your lots are up to standard to avoid the wrath of the buyer

Bidders are welcome to inspect lots prior to auction and during the break.

Anyone who is going to be buying stuff, remember to  bring cash, as we don't do EFTPOS, and not all fifties and hundreds so we have enough change.

See you there. :)
