I will be there and checking lots in by about 6:30, so any time after that. After 7:30 will be chaos. Better to be a bit early, people :)

Well done to the committee on a fantastic and a well organised auction. Considering the amount of lots you guys had you did well at finishing at a decent time.

Good night once again guys. Kleinz I don't know what was in that bottle but it sure as hell saved that catfish life, there's no way that would of made it home without a little fresh water and ol mate oxygenating it the whole way home. Thanks.

Great night was awesome to get down and see a few people and finally meet a few that I've been chatting to on here for awhile! Like this crazy dude just above lol btw to those who might have thought my lots travelled down in bags I only bagged my fish at 7pm because they were in foam boxes with airstones during the trip and that :) and to be honest I wanna give a massive shout out to aquatic dreams for what he is doing to bring back some of these species that have almost disappeared from Perth! Legend! I know you probably hoped they would sell for more but I am gonna make it my goal to a future breeding project for these Malawi trout thanks mate!

PowPow

That bottle was full of special magic, Shane.... I put it in there myself! :o

Right. That was a big big night. I think I can say with some confidence that any future auction held on a weeknight will have a smaller number of lots and an earlier finish time. Still, you never know how many you can fit in until you try... :D

I think that was a pretty well-oiled machine!

Thanks to all the sellers and bidders. A lot of fish, plants and other stuff changed hands, and the club got to make its 10% on it all. Just like the mafia! :Rofl_3f:

Thanks Tex, TBH mate Ive never really cared about the $$ side of things as long as there is enough to pay the bills, Im happy.
If people are able to score a bargain, then its all good for the hobby.
Enjoy those Trouts! They are an amazing species & have great characters!
Share it around I reckon.

I have them bud, But Ive had to put them in with my Tangs, I cant guarantee their safety.... :(
How many did you get?

I would like to thank the committee for all their efforts & hard work. IMO I think we should try the weekend auctions again and start them early afternoon.

On a side note,

I brought up last night about the bag that wasn't done up properly. I apologise if I made the person feel embarrassed that was not my intention. I do get ratherly passionate about the fish and want the absolute best for them.
I was told the bag was done correctly before the auction and must've gone down a little during the night, which is quite possible. I don't doubt the person who's bag it was as they are quite competent at fish keeping.
Anyway, Moving on....

Thanks to all the people who came along and made it a great night.!
