ahh ha yes red crayfish that was the site i wanted to find but couldnt find it, well as for parts its not hard to obtain just cable channel i bought from bunnings i think i got 3-4 metres of the stuff for 22$, for foam either go Clark rubber or any LFS price rannge 20-40, silicone 7-8$ and if u really wanted to go crazy with the filter pour in bio balls but it would kinda throw that guys theory out the window haha

i have them running on my 24x18x18 tanks and 30x12x14 and results are great did fine handling oscars poop and changing water weekly but that was with a well baterialised foam, i would love to try it on a 4ft tank i know it would work really well hope that helps answer some of ur question

Does any one know if this method would work with a UV powerhead filter or do these remove all bacteria?
