Warm white, Cool white and Day light white all put out a yellow light spectrum. This is more noticable when these lights are placed over water, warm being the yellowish, cool yellow and dayligh pale yellow tinge. The Daylight is the pick of the three, hope that helps. cheers Steve

Hi Mate,
run these myself in my garage. Turned off all other light and took a few snaps to try and show you.

Best described as a soft glow. OK for a bit of light to feed and stuff but no real intensity or penetrating power to light. Suspect that most will not find them sufficient. Perhaps 2 or 3 rows over each tank may help but I still suspect that lack of intensity may be a problem.

The soft glow works well however for my Pep BN's. Light enough for me to sit and watch, but soft enough that they feel brave enough to explore.

hi slink, i have some lights similar to these - http://www.hero-leds...ual-p-2625.html

i have found they are a lot brighter than the strip lights but are not very good for big tanks. what size is the tank do you want to light up?
i also have some RGB strip lights as well that i want to get rid of.

pm me if you would like to try some, i live in ellenbrook.

cheers mike.
