Hey guys, I have a Tandanus that's about 3 inches long, and was just wondering if its possible to keep snails about the same size as an apple snail with him. The reason I am asking is I've heard the odd rumor of them being snail killers. The snails would be Waterhouse snails from Aquagreen at a length of 2cm and are native.  So would my Tandanus  be ok with some? Attached File  Snail.jpg   51.33KB   4 downloads

Thanks in advance!

If you want fish, just about any large fish thats not to agro. Barcoo grunter, how about an eel, sleepy cod, archers, scats if you arent growing plants, coal grunter, salmontail cat, etc... pretty much anything big other than a murray cod, toga or mangrove jack.

Be careful. If the barra outgrows the tandanus he will eat them in a flash. Barra arent agro but they do have freakishly large mouths. I took a photo and posted it up in the "native displays" thread of just how big their mouths are.
Ice lost his Murray Cod when it tried to eat his tandanus. The tandanus spiked the cod as it was being eaten. Bloody unfortunate.

Wasn't even a big cod yet either, only about 2cm longer than the tandanus that it tried (and failed) to eat.
